By accessing or using NeighborPool (“the Service”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
NeighborPool is a community service consolidation platform that groups households within a geographic area to collectively negotiate discounted rates with service providers. The Service includes:
NeighborPool acts as a facilitator and does not itself provide home services. All services are delivered by independent third-party providers.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. The Service is available to residents of the United States only.
Signing up for NeighborPool requires providing a valid email address and selecting service preferences. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the information you provide. Your sign-up is non-binding — you will not be committed to any service or payment until you explicitly accept a confirmed group rate offer.
Submitting your email and service preferences through NeighborPool does not create a contract for services. A binding commitment only arises when: (a) a group rate is confirmed with a provider; (b) you receive a separate offer detailing the price and terms; and (c) you explicitly accept that specific offer. You may opt out at any time before accepting a confirmed offer.
All home services facilitated through NeighborPool are performed by independent third-party providers. NeighborPool vets providers for licensing, insurance, and background checks but does not employ or directly supervise these providers. NeighborPool is not liable for the quality, timeliness, or safety of services rendered by third-party providers. Disputes regarding service delivery should be directed to the provider and, if unresolved, to NeighborPool for mediation assistance.
You agree not to:
Users granted access to the NeighborPool administrative portal (“Admins”) are responsible for: accurately entering residential address data; distributing flyers and QR codes only to residents of the addresses entered; maintaining the confidentiality of any admin credentials; and ensuring compliance with applicable privacy laws when collecting resident information.
All content, trademarks, logos, and materials associated with NeighborPool are the property of NeighborPool or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without express written permission.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. NEIGHBORPOOL DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY SPECIFIC GROUP RATE WILL BE ACHIEVED. USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEIGHBORPOOL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF SAVINGS, SERVICE DISSATISFACTION, OR DATA LOSS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED $100.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Austin, Texas.
