Last updated: March 31, 2026

Our Commitment

NeighborPool is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards to our website and services.

Standards

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.

Measures We Take

  • Semantic HTML markup throughout the application
  • Sufficient color contrast ratios for text and interactive elements
  • Keyboard navigable interface for all core functionality
  • Descriptive alt text for meaningful images
  • ARIA labels where native HTML semantics are insufficient
  • Responsive design that works across devices and screen sizes
  • Clear, consistent navigation patterns
  • Form labels and error messages that are programmatically associated with inputs

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some areas of our site may not yet be fully optimized. We are actively working to identify and fix accessibility issues as we continue to develop the platform.
